During the process, I received a few status update email from the processing center. Very good experience this time compared to the one last year (renewing for my daughter.)

Standard service renewal application sent from southern California to Irvine Texas via USPS priority mail on 1/9/2024 with estimated delivery on 1/12/24. Tracking info stated actual delivery on 1/13/24 (Saturday). Following Monday1/15/24 was a national holiday. Email after 4 pm on 1/16/24 that application was received. Email on Tuesday 2/6/24 at 12:05 am that application was approved and passport was now being printed. No further emails on status. Passport arrived via USPS priority mail in my home mailbox on Friday 2/9/24. Tracking info indicates it started its journey on 2/6/24 after 3:30 pm at the USPS facility in Tucson AZ. Total duration 31 days including one statutory holiday.
