While the process itself was very easy to apply online for a renewal, there is a bit of stress around the various stages. Had I not checked the USPS informed delivery, I would have still be anxious whether it would arrive in time for my travel, which was booked after my application was submitted.

Expeditied renewal of my son’s passport book from 5 year child to adult, as well as a new passport card. He’s 17, done as a paper application through our town office. Status changed to “approved” but never showed as shipped, but the website said expect by 2/21/23 and received 2/28 via priority mail. May have been delayed due to mail system. Passport card arrived on 2/24/23.
Still awaiting ONLINE renewal of my passport, submitted expedited the same day.
