I applied online and my confirmation email said 6-9 weeks. It has been 9.5 weeks and no passport. I upgraded to expedited and 2 day shipping 2 weeks ago. No change. I had my senator’s office contact the passport agency. I called two weeks before my trip (waited 5+ hours) to have the passport help line agent send a message to the agency that I had travel in <2 weeks. Called today (waited 3 hours) to try to make an in-person appointment. There are no appointments available anywhere in the U.S. I am supposed to leave for my trip in 5 days.
