Such a horrible experience! Sent in my passport renewal in what should have been “plenty” of time. Realized I was in trouble and started calling the agency customer service number, and never got through. I called at all times of day – right when they opened all the way through to late evening. Nothing. I did reach out to my US Senator, and it seems as they were able to speed up the process. Unfortunately, my passport did not arrive in time for our flight overseas and we were forced to cancel the trip.

Not the passport agency’s fault but the lady who did our passport forgot to sign one of my children’s paperwork/put the location it was done on it! It took a week for them just to mail me a letter about it! I was in touch with congressman and senator reps who helped assist me when it came to sending it back and to get it all back in time for our travels!
