Applied November 4th, they received it the 8th, approved December 12, I received it December 16th. Routine services. Also, I am a newly Naturalized citizen of the United States. Hope this helps. I am in MD; however, my passport came from Arkansas, and this is why I chose that office.

Website said they received application on Oct 4 and it could take 6-9 weeks. After 9 weeks had passed, called customer service number to see if there was a problem since we had travel plans within the next two weeks. Was told that they couldn’t do anything and recommended getting an in person appointment. Closest location was 5hr drive away, but they were booked up for the next three weeks! In fact, there were no available appointments anywhere in the country. So they just noted our travel plans in the system and that was all they could do. Received the passport in the mail the next week. Funny enough, the website still says it is being processed!
