Optional Comments:
Total time for 2 child passports ($150 each) was 57 days but it also took 2 weeks to get an appointment at a local post office and the closest one in DFW with availability was an hour away. We leave for Mexico in 11 days so it arrived just in time. I didn’t pay for expedited after checking this site and seeing average times at under 40 days. Our wait wasn’t that quick but I have relatives that got their passports under 40 days and they applied the same week we did at a different post office. So the entire wait for us was 70 days.
