As of Monday, September 8, a total of 11 passport agencies and centers are in phase two and 15 agencies and centers in phase one of our three-phase reopening plan
  • Charleston Passport Center Status: Phase One on August 17 The Center has entered phase one of our three-phase reopening plan. Since it first opened in 2000, the Center has been closed to the public so you cannot make an appointment for in-person service at this facility. However, the Center continues to be a high volume passport processing center.  During phase one, more staff will return to the on-site work location and the Center will continue to process applications beginning with the oldest applications received. If you received a letter from the Center requesting additional information to continue processing your application, please respond to the address provided on the letter.

Anyone renewed Indian passport recently at Atlanta Consulate ? I wanted to find out the latest processing times.

I wanted to find out if it really takes 6-8 weeks to process passport renewal in Atlanta or can it happen sooner than that ? My application was cleared by CKGS and sent to Indian Consulate Atlanta..
