Contacted senator’s, called and emailed to mark urgent, called Washington office directly numerous times. Paid for expedited and express return shipping from the very beginning. Mailed application with overnight shipping. DOT was 7/12 and I received it in the mail on 7/13 so had to reschedule flight. Washington office said my application was in a lockbox for a long time and had not physically arrived at their location yet which seemed to slow things down. It showed as in process online even when it was still in the lockbox. My expired passport was shipped back to me in the same envelope as my new passport.

Received a letter with date July 7, that the agency UPS was not properly to processed by the agent and asked for the information of the facility where I applied so they can contact them. I even attached photocopies of our documents we submitted during application just incase they might helped. They won’t get it til July 17 though. My first daughter’s passport application was processed on the same day and facility. It has been mailed as of July 13th and hoping to get it next week. Might need to schedule an appointment fr the baby as we are not sure if they can get my mail and process her application before our date of travel.
