Expedited service for adult passport renewal (without rush shipping). One calendar month door to door. Exactly 4 weeks from application received date until passport received date. Hooray! Much faster than anticipated! Unfortunately, I’m still waiting to receive my old passport back. If you have this info please include it in your waiting time submission comments! I have no idea how long this piece is currently taking. Website says that it could be up to 8 weeks… ouch!

Applied as a first time adult applicant. Overall my experience was average. I applied at the post office for expedited services. They only thing I wish would be better is to have been notified more the two weeks for my travel date of additional information needed. It became a rush at the end to get my additional information to them, and had to get my state to representative to assist in order to get my passport the day before I was supposed to travel.
