As my date for travel drew near I tried all available number to check on status. I also tried different times of the day and different days and still go the same message I finally got a working number and was on hold for two hours twice. Each time the call would drop. It was very stressful for me but end result is I got my passport. So great job

Total time is 8 weeks and 5 days. U.S. Processing time was 10-13 weeks and this was well within range. I’m assuming renewals are easier and faster to process. We submitted our son’s first passport and it was acknowledged and received the same day on 4/17/2023. Still waiting…
We live in Texas and did not receive passport from TX agency. Per the USPS Priority Mail tracking it was sent from Arizona.

I paid for expedited services and still missed my flight! I missed My son playing in his first NBA Africa tournament! My heart was broken and I was disappointed in the services at #62. No appointments were available to appear in person and the 1-800 number was no help at all.

We live in Texas and thought it would have been handled within the same state but based off of the USPS Priority Mail tracking our child’s passport was sent from Arkansas.
