I am not sure if my experience resembles anyone in this group. I applied abroad at a US embassy and even without expedite, I received mines in 4 weeks. I was told in the beginning by the embassy staff to expect 8 weeks, which is still less time than the 10-13 weeks that are today’s estimated processing times.
